Affiliate Referral Program:
Only web sites and businesses that are directly related to the home building and decorating industry will be
allowed to participate in this program. Further, only businesses that have been reviewed and found to be
credible, reputable and relevant will be selected to join.
Compensation:
In exchange for placing an ad banner or/and a text link (see affiliate requirements) on the affiliates' site,
The Cabin Shop will pay a base compensation in the amount of 10%(may vary for certain affiliates and certain volumes) of the subtotal of each sale received from
traffic generated through the link on the affiliate's site to the affiliate . No, per hit compensation.
The Cabin Shop will be responsible for tracking affiliates hits and sales and providing records via the
affiliates online real-time account.
Affiliate Requirements and Responsibilities:
The affiliate is responsible for placing the links and initial and periodic testing the link(s) on their site.(including through check-out and verify compensation) Location must be on the
affiliate's Home Page or on a page no more than two levels down( on a pg that which it's link appears
on the home page or a link on the forementioned page.) The affiliate will maintain their web site and The Cabin Shop advertisement in a manner to maintain a positive
"brand name" credibility for The Cabin Shop
Approved ads:
The Cabin Shop will have a pre designed banner ad(s) located on it's server which may be updated at times. The Ad may reside
on the affiliates server if desired. However, the affiliate will be responsible verifying that any products featured in the add
are still available. Custom Ads - Affiliates may configure their own ads for the cabin shop to best suit and maximize their
site's advertising space but they must be submitted for approval. note: resizing The Cabin Shop ads does not require approval.
Technology Limitations:
Affiliate Tracking uses cookies - browser's that do not accept cookies will not be tracked. The cookie is set to expire after
90 days( the sale does not need to occur thru the first visit to the store to be credited. A subsequent visit directly to the store
url home page will still be credited to the affiliate. Please note: That if the browser cache is deleted and the cookie removed the sale
can not be tracked. Also, the affiliate tracking is for a one-time sale. no others sales from the same browser will be credited until the
cookie is removed or expires. Please note that the Cabin Shop reconciles sales of its repeats customers manually and will pay commission
to affiliates on repeat customer sales received within 30 days of the first sale. Server crash- If the server crashes, the last back up by the
host will be restored this may result in loss of commissions(and is not warranteed)
Disputes:
The Cabin Shop will review any dispute and the resolution will be at it's sole discretion. If, a large amount of commissions
are accumulated by the affiliate before payment, they may request a manual confirmation to protect against data loss.
Payment:
Payments will be issued bi-monthly for sales that have been processed(shipped). A payment threshold of $50.00 is applicable.
all commissions less than the threshold will be applied to the next payment cycle.
Charge Backs:
Because of the nature of mail-order, some returns are expected. If an item is returned, that part of the sale becomes null and void.
Any commissions paid previously on voided sales are subject to being charged back against the affiliates account.
Other:
The affiliate agrees to not hold The Cabin Shop liable for any losses associated with this program and displaying of
its ads.
This agreement may be amended at any time. Compensation may differ for each affiliate and compensations are subject to
change. Either party can choose to dissolve their relationship with the other at any time with no explanation or reason. The affiliate program does not constitute a business partnership. The affiliate and The Cabin Shop are not partners or joined in business and maintain separate legal entities.
Any programing or scripting that automates or propogates links(click thru's or popupwindows) is strictly prohibited...
Industry professionals enrolled in our discount plan can not be their own affiliates - the affiliate program is not applicable with our professional discounts. If an affiliate wishes to recruit or recruites an industry professional taking part in our discount plan, non-standard affiliate program compensation is applicable
